Products conforming to RoHS
the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment
The EU-Guideline 2002/95/EG (RoHS)
This EU-Guideline regulates the use of hazardous materials in electrical and electronic equipment. Together with the EU-Guideline 2002/96/EG, which regulated the use and disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, they have been combined into the Electrical and Electronics law ElektroG.
- EU-Guideline 2002/95/EG: RoHS - Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances
- EU-Guideline 2002/96/EG: WEEE - Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Because of the uncertainty how to apply the RoHD guidelines, often RoHS conformity is demanded as general rule. If the guidelines are interpreted incorrectly, they damage the competibility of European companies. The VDMA has devised a paper on RoHS en WEEE, a paper Parker ORIGA uses as orientation on the subject. This paper explains the meaning of RoHS and WEEE for the investment goods industry. Parker ORIGA is now converting selected products to conform to RoHS.
The following product groups are produced with RoHS compliant matierials:
- RoHS Certification OSP-P
- RoHS Certification aluminium roller guides
GDL- FE / GDL-FD / roller cassette RK-FD - RoHS Certification airfit air preparation units
- RoHS Information Parker ORIGA
